Our philosophy at Advanced Academics is to create a learning environment that encourages students to become active learners. Advanced Academics online courses provide enjoyable learning experiences for today’s high school students, grades 7-12, by engaging them with dynamic, interactive content. We also help students keep pace with our ever-changing world by customizing our courses to meet their individual needs. Schools and districts benefit by being able to provide a high quality, up-to-date curriculum offering that will help serve more of their student populations.

Advanced Academics program is regionally and nationally accredited and our courses are aligned with state standards in the states in which they are offered. We provide more than 90 courses in the following subject areas:

All of Advanced Academics courses can be completed anywhere a computer and Internet access are available: at the school computer lab, public library, or at the student’s home. Our online courses also offer the capability of being completely modular so that schools or districts can break down and utilize the components of a course they need in order to serve their students' unique needs.


Advanced Academics curriculum development team carefully designs engaging and dynamic curriculum created specifically for online delivery. To further ensure instructional quality, our content is supplemented through partnerships with other online content providers. The courses include text, animations, streaming video and audio, educational games, and other engaging content. Core courses are externally verified for their alignment to state education standards through a third-party correlations and standards alignment company, Six Things Incorporated. Six Things is an experienced company of educators specialized in their respective subject areas which also provides alignment data and correlation services to a number of nationally recognized publishers including McGraw Hill, Scholastic, and Houghton Mifflin.
